Bella Physical Therapy accepts most major medical insurance carriers. We are committed to helping you understand your physical therapy benefits. Our office is happy to assist in contacting your insurance company prior to your first visit to verify benefits and will review your plan’s details with you before you arrive for your initial appointment.
We do not accept HMO or EPO policies. However, if you are unable to find an in-network provider for some specific problems (such as Women’s and Men’s Health, Pediatric Pelvic Floor disorders, TMJ, Headache, Tinnitus, or Vestibular Rehab, your insurance may approve treatment in our facility since our physical therapists specialize in treatment of these conditions.
Physical Therapists in New Jersey have DIRECT ACCESS. This means you may access our physical therapy services without a referral from a physician. At Bella Physical Therapy, we recognize collaboration between physician and physical therapist as a vital component to providing you with the best care. Direct access allows that collaboration to be initiated by the physical therapist.
Many insurance companies will pay for physical therapy services provided under direct access, whereas others require a referral from a physician. We will contact your insurance prior to your visit to find out if your particular plan requires doctor’s referral.
